Value of Speaking

Al-Baqara (The Cow) 2:83
 وَقُولُوا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا

and you shall speak unto all people in a kindly way

Al-Balad (The City) 90:17

ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْمَرْحَمَةِ
and being, withal, of those who have attained to faith, and who enjoin upon one another patience in adversity, and enjoin upon one another compassion.

Al-'Asr (The Time) 103:3
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ
unless he be of those who attain to faith, and do good works, and enjoin upon one another the keeping to truth, and enjoin upon one another patience in adversity.

Atomic Habits or The Power of Habit
What are your good habits?
The greater the ability one has to be mindful in the present moment, the more ability one has to regulate one’s emotions.
That is where self-management, one of the four domains of emotional intelligence, comes into play.
Researchers found that more than 40% of our actions each day are based on habit rather than conscious thought.
When considering how to create a new habit, such as providing more meaningful feedback to your team, the brain has to override its default wiring and create a new response to triggering situations.
The truth is that at least 40% of our choices daily are habits.
40% of your actions are not decisions but habits. Habits are something we create from continuous actions. Every habit we have, good or bad, is a behavior we have allowed.
An important characteristic of a habit is that it’s automatic - we don’t always recognize habits in our own behavior. Studies show that about 40 percent of people’s daily activities are performed each day in almost the same situations. Habits emerge through associative learning.
How to change habits and remove your bad habits? Smoking, not reading books, no exercise are bad habits.
