Reality of Death
Al-Waqi'a (The Event) 56:60
نَحْنُ قَدَّرْنَا بَيْنَكُمُ الْمَوْتَ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَسْبُوقِينَ
We have [indeed] decreed that death shall be [ever-present] among you: but there is nothing to prevent Us
Al-Jumu'ah (Friday) 62:6
Say: "O you who follow the Jewish faith! If you claim that you [alone] are close to God, to the exclusion of all other people, then you should be longing for death - if what you say is true!"
Apparently taking revenge feels good but you never come out ahead by doing to others what they did to you.
The real way you please Allah SWT and increase in reward is to bless your enemies. When you’re good to those that are not good to you, not only will you rise higher, but God will deal with those who are not treating you right.
The size of your problem is an indication of the size of your future. That difficulty was not sent to defeat you; it was sent to make you stronger. If you’re up against a big challenge, you have a big success awaiting.
You have no need to compare the size of your problems with your ability to solve them. Don't overestimate your problems and underestimate yourself.
Many times, before a big success comes to you, you have to go through a season of silence where you don’t see anything changing. You’ll think, “Is what I’m doing working? Is my believing, my giving, my praying even making a difference?” This is when many people get discouraged and give up on what they’re believing for. But just because you don’t see anything happening, doesn’t mean nothing is going on. Behind the scenes, things are changing that you can’t see.
