Dua for Illness

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace:

Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) 26:80

وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ

Waitha maridtu fahuwa yashfeeni

and when I fall ill, is the One who restores me to health,

An-Naml (The Ants) 27:62

أَمَّن يُجِيبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ السُّوءَ 

Amman yujeebu almudtarra itha daAAahu wayakshifu alssooa 

 Nay - who is it that responds to the distressed when he calls out to Him, 

and who removes the ill [that caused the distress]

يَا مَنْ اسْمُهُ دَوَاءٌ

ya manis-muhu dawa-un

O He whose Name is a remedy,

وَذِكْرُهُ شِفَاءٌ

wa dhik-ruhu shifa-un

And whose remembrance is a cure,
