Leniency

He who is not lenient to those inferior to him will not achieve his desires.

الرِّفقُ مِفتاحُ النَّجاحِ. ح: 294

Leniency is the key to success. H: 294

رأسُ السِّياسَةِ استِعمالُ الرِّفقِ. ح: 5266
The foundation of politics is to practice leniency. H: 5266

نِعمَ السِّياسَةِ الرِّفقُ. ح: 9947
The best of politics is leniency. H: 9947

مَن لَم يَلِن لِمَن دونَهُ لَم يَنَل حاجَتَهُ. ح: 9006
He who is not lenient to those inferior to him will not achieve his desires. H: 9006

عَلَيكَ بِالرِّفقِ؛ فَإِنَّهُ مِفتاحُ الصَّوابِ وسَجِيَّةُ اُولِي الأَلبابِ. ح: 6114
Be lenient, for it is the key to righteousness and the character of those who possess intellect. H: 6114

الرِّفقُ يُيَسِّرُ الصِّعابَ، ويُسَهِّلُ شَديدَ الأَسبابِ. ح: 1778
Tolerance and leniency ease off hardships and facilitate difficult means. H: 1778

مَن عامَل بِالرِّفقِ وُفِّقَ. ح: 7842
He who acts with leniency will be successful. H: 7842

الرِّفقُ يَفِلُّ حَدَّ المُخالَفَةِ. ح: 560
Gentleness will soften the roughness of opposition and defiance. H: 560

مَنِ استَعمَلَ الرِّفقَ لانَ لَهُ الشَّديدُ. ح: 8400
He who exercises leniency, difficulties will become easy for him. H: 8400

إذا مَلَكتَ فَارفَق. ح: 3974
When you become a ruler, be lenient. H: 3974

Leniency leads to covetousness (greed), and severity to inauspiciousness (not auspicious, unfavourableness) - Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) Source : Peak Of Rhetoric (Nahjul Fasaha)
Leniency decorates its host but degrades it, taking distance with it - Prophet Muhammad(PBUH)
