Don't let your thoughts drain you!

Don't let your thoughts drain you!

How we can maintain positive energy.

Understand that you can only have one thought at a time. One thought, so if I don't have one thought, why don't I make the conscious choice to think positive thoughts.

The #1 drainer of your energy is thought. We don't realize, we put energy behind a thought and the it drains us throughout the day.

We have over 30000 thoughts a day. Take control over your energy by first watching your thoughts consciously.

This is where meditation helps and then you can start to monitor your emotions.

Then you can start to be more confident of what you eat, how much you sleep.

All of these things play into your energy levels.

I make sure before I get out of bed I meditate and then when I get up, I sit on the edge of the bed and I think about how thankful and grateful for I am for everything that I have around me.

I'll be a good or bad and what I'm doing is setting my mindset in a place of positivity for the rest of the day.

There is chance that what’s draining you isn’t happening in your body, but in your mind. A depressed mind thinks a little differently than a non-depressed mind.

Main reason of depression is dwelling on problems without a solution, repeatedly looking back on your mistakes and beating yourself.

Ruminating thoughts are excessive and intrusive thoughts about negative experiences and feelings. These thoughts can drain your brain.

Think of thoughts like an app running in your mind. If you keep the app running 24/7 with high-emotion, negative thoughts, it’s going to drain your battery - even if you do nothing else all day. And this app can be sneaky – sometimes it can be running in the background and you don’t even know until your emotions or fatigue levels clue you in!
