Reading Books - an Option or Must

Reading Books - an Option or Must

1. Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.

2. Successful people have libraries. The rest have big screen TVs.

3. Miss a meal if you have to, but don’t miss a book.

4. Those who will not read are no better off than those who cannot read.

5. The difference between where you are today and where you’ll be five years from now will be found in the quality of books you’ve read.

6. Some people claim that it is okay to read trashy novels because sometimes you can find something valuable in them. You can also find a crust of bread in a garbage can, if you search long enough, but there is a better way.

7. Everything you need for better future and success has already been written. And guess what? All you have to do is go to the library.

8. Don’t just read the easy stuff. You may be entertained by it, but you will never grow from it.

9. It isn’t what the book costs. It’s what it will cost you if you don’t read it.

10. The book you don’t read, can’t help.

11. Books are what you step on to take you to a higher shelf. The higher your stack of books, the higher the shelf you can reach. Want to reach higher? Stack some more books under your feet! Reading is what brings us to new knowledge. It opens new doors. It helps us understand mysteries. It lets us hear from successful people. Reading is what takes us down the road in our journey. Everything you need for a better future and success has already been written.

12. The only thing worse than not reading a book in the last ninety days is not reading a book in the last ninety days and thinking that it doesn’t matter.

13. I am a buyer of blank books. Kids find it interesting that I would buy a blank book. They say, Twenty-Six dollars for a blank book! Why would you pay that? The reason I pay twenty-six dollars is to challenge myself to find something worth twenty-six dollars to put in there. All my journals are private, but if you ever got hold of one of them, you wouldn’t have to look very far to discover it is worth more than twenty-six dollars.

14. The things that change your life are: the people you meet, the classes you take, and the books you read.

15. Don’t read a book and be a follower; read a book and be a student.

16. Reading is essential for those who seek to rise above the ordinary.

17. Most homes valued at over $250,000 have a library. That should tell us something.

18. All of the insights that we might ever need have already been captured by others in books. The important question is this: In the last ninety days, with this treasure of information that could change our lives, our fortunes, our relationships, our health, our children and our careers for the better, how many books have we read?

19. If you want to live a top shelf life then you need to stand on the books you have read. Never stop learning, never stop growing.

20. The millionaire says to a thousand people, ‘I read this book and it started me on the road to wealth.’ Guess how many go out and get the book? Very few. Isn’t that incredible? Why wouldn’t everyone get the book?!

21. Any day we wish we can discipline ourselves to change it all. Any day we wish; we can open the book that will open our mind to new knowledge. Any day we wish; we can start a new activity. Any day we wish; we can start the process of life change. We can do it immediately, or next week, or next month, or next year.

Love Without Condition
1. And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.
2. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better, too.
3. Every blessing ignored becomes a curse.
4. It’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.
5. One is loved because one is loved. No reason is needed for loving.
6. Remember that wherever your heart is, there you will find your treasure.
7. The simple things are also the most extraordinary things, and only the wise can see them.
8. There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.
9. And, when you can’t go back, you have to worry only about the best way of moving forward.
10. You will never be able to escape from your heart. So it’s better to listen to what it has to say.
