The Best of Charity

The Holy Prophet PBUH said: “The best of charity is when a Muslim man gains knowledge, then he teaches it to his Muslim brother.”

The scholar and the seeker of knowledge will share the reward, and there is no good in the rest of the people.

None of you have faith until you love for your neighbor what you love for yourself.

He is not a Muslim whose stomach is full while his neighbor goes hungry.

Examples of sadaqah (voluntary charitable offerings) include:

To administer justice between two people

To remove harm from a road / removing thorns, bones and stones from paths

A good word

Every step taken towards prayer

Guiding the blind

Supporting the weak with the strength of your arms

Meeting with Smiling Face

Charity is spending one’s possessions and abilities in the way of Allah SWT.
