You don't deserve someone’s burdens to be placed on your back for them to believe that you actually love them. You don't have to allow someone to just completely demolish your image of who you are and your image of your self-worth and your understanding of self-worth just because they are going through a hard time or just because once that pain starts spilling on other people that's not kind.

The price of someone loving you should not be you not loving you.

The price of someone loving you should not be you expanding everything that you have within to lift them up or save them or they should be able to love you without you doing all of that stuff.
